Our mission
One mission, two commitments
We believe no animal should suffer abandonment, and no non-profit should be limited by the cost of its supplies. That is why A.G.H.A. acts on two complementary fronts.

Who we are
A grass-roots association rooted in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes
Founded and based in Marches, in the Drôme département, A.G.H.A. is a French non-profit (loi 1901) registered with the French authorities under RNA number W263003065. We work alongside volunteers, foster families, partner veterinarians and other associations to respond to emergencies and build long-term solutions.
Our official purpose: “To negotiate, on behalf of associations, general terms of sale with suppliers, based on pooled, global purchasing.” In practice, this enables shelters, social associations and educational structures to lower their costs and dedicate more resources to their core mission.

Animal protection
Rescue, treat, rehome
Our shelter takes in abandoned dogs, cats and small animals. Each animal is examined, microchipped, vaccinated and sterilised before joining a foster or adoptive home.
