Our story
A.G.H.A. was born of a simple observation: in the field, many non-profit associations share the exact same needs — animal food, supplies, energy, veterinary equipment — but pay full price because they cannot negotiate alone. At the same time, hundreds of abandoned animals look for a second chance every month.
So we built a hybrid structure: an animal shelter that rescues and rehomes animals, and a non-profit purchasing alliance that lets other associations pool their orders and obtain better terms from suppliers. The two activities reinforce one another: the savings generated by pooling are reinvested in animal care.
Today, A.G.H.A. works alongside shelters, social aid organisations, educational and environmental groups. We follow one principle: zero third-party commercial advertising on our site, and 100% of donations used for our missions.

Legal status & governance
A.G.H.A. is a non-profit association governed by the French law of 1 July 1901, of general interest. It is registered with the National Register of Associations under RNA number W263003065.
The association is run by a Board of Directors and an Executive Bureau, all volunteers. A General Assembly is held every year. The bylaws, internal regulations and annual report are available on simple request.

How are donations used?
Donations are entirely allocated to our missions: veterinary care, food, shelter costs, support for partner associations. No salary is paid: the team is 100% volunteer.
Can my association join the purchasing alliance?
Yes. Any non-profit organisation (loi 1901, foundation, recognised general-interest structure) can apply. We assess your needs together, then give you access to the negotiated terms.
