1. Rescue & intake
Reporting, intervention, sheltering and first care at our facility or with a foster family.
Every animal we take in is treated, microchipped, vaccinated, sterilised and placed with a family suited to its needs.
Our shelter takes in dogs, cats and small animals that have been abandoned, mistreated or neglected. We work as a network with foster families, partner veterinary clinics and other shelters to direct each animal toward the most appropriate solution.
We follow a strict protocol: full veterinary examination, identification (microchip), vaccination, sterilisation and behavioural assessment before any adoption is proposed. No animal is placed without a prior visit.
Reporting, intervention, sheltering and first care at our facility or with a foster family.
Veterinary exam, treatments, vaccinations, identification (microchip) and sterilisation.
Observation, socialisation and assessment to understand the animal’s needs and the right family profile.
Meeting, adoption questionnaire, contract and post-adoption follow-up to ensure a smooth integration.
Adopting an animal is not a casual decision — it is a 10 to 15-year commitment, sometimes longer. We ask for an open conversation about your home, availability, children or other animals, and your budget.
Foster families are essential — they offer our animals a warm environment during recovery, socialisation or while they wait for adoption. A.G.H.A. covers food, veterinary follow-up and provides ongoing advice.
I want to fosterBe of legal age, have a home suited to the chosen animal, accept a prior visit and sign A.G.H.A.’s adoption contract. Adoption fees are listed on each animal’s profile.
Yes. The A.G.H.A. contract includes a guaranteed return to the shelter if you can no longer keep the animal. We always prefer that to a new abandonment.
Yes. Contact us immediately by email or via the contact form. We will guide you and, where possible, intervene or relay the alert to local authorities.
