Social integration programme

Helping Jewish newcomers from Israel build a stable life in France

A.G.H.A. offers practical, human support for individuals and families arriving from Israel: understanding French administration, preparing appointments, finding local resources and building a first support network.

Why this programme exists

Arrival is easier when someone explains the system

Moving to France can be difficult even for French speakers. Families must understand housing rules, health coverage, school registration, tax numbers, employment status and many online portals. Our role is to make the first months clearer and less isolating.

Administrative orientation
CAF, CPAM / Assurance Maladie, impots.gouv.fr, France Travail, town hall services and prefecture appointments when relevant.
Self-employment guidance
Understanding URSSAF, micro-entrepreneur basics, invoices, declarations and when to ask an accountant or lawyer.
Daily life in France
Housing documents, school enrolment, French lessons, public transport, local associations and family services.
Community connection
Friendly orientation toward local cultural, social and faith-based networks, while respecting each person’s privacy and choices.

How the support works

A simple, respectful process designed for clarity and privacy.

  1. First contact. You explain your situation, arrival date, city and the most urgent administrative questions.
  2. Needs review. A volunteer helps identify the documents, portals and appointments that should be handled first.
  3. Guided steps. We help you prepare CAF, CPAM, URSSAF, school or housing files and avoid common missing documents.
  4. Local orientation. We share useful local services and associations so the family is not isolated after the first appointments.

Housing and installation

Understanding rental files, guarantors, home insurance, electricity, internet, municipal services and the documents landlords usually request.

Rights and obligations

Clear explanations of public services, deadlines, online accounts and when a situation must be handled by a lawyer, accountant or official authority.

Human connection

Integration is not only paperwork. We help newcomers find language practice, local groups, volunteering opportunities and trusted contacts.

Important limits

A.G.H.A. is a nonprofit support association. We help people understand steps and prepare files, but we do not replace public authorities, lawyers, tax advisers, accountants or certified translators. For legal, tax or immigration decisions, we refer beneficiaries to qualified professionals.
